About Us

History

Stella May Contracting was established in January of 1995. The president, Stella M. Miller, initially set up the organization and drew up the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws. At this point she secured startup funds with an SBA Low Doc Loan from a local bank. The first employees (Brad Hanks & Rick Phillips) were hired in May of that year and actual construction started at that time. At first the company took on many small projects and gradually increased contract volume from there. Revenues have grown from our first year of $250,000 to $10,000,000 in 2008. Stella May Contracting now employs a team of 54 people.
