Project Description: |
In April 2005, the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers awarded Stella May Contracting, Inc. the contract to provide equipment and operating personnel for 170 working days at the Wilmington Harbor South Containment Facility in Wilmington, Delaware. This project consisted of five (5) Cat 330 (or equivalent) wide track excavators, with mats and operating personnel for 85 working days each. The purpose of the project was to move previously dredged materials onto a new berm surrounding the disposal site. Stella May Contracting, Inc. provided the equipment and operators for a total of 85 working days each, under the direction of Corp of Engineers, John Carpenter. The contract was extended for 30 days (each) in September 2005, November 2005 and April 2006. |
