| Project Description: | In June 2006, P. Flanigan & Sons awarded Stella May Contracting, Inc. the subcontract for the reconstruction of piers D & E at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. This multiphase project consisted of a water line with hydrants, a glycol collection system, a storm drain system, an oil water separator system, and related structures. Phase 1 began in September 2006. The work on this project was completed under a phasing plan which includes gate closures and temporary aircraft trafficking. Multiple crews were employed around the clock in order to meet the phasing deadlines. |
