| Project Description: | In October 2006, Stella May Contracting, Inc. was awarded a sub-contract with Corman Construction, Inc. to install a new 12" water main as part of the State Highway Streetscape project for Main Street, Bel Air, Md. The project was broken up into three phases to limit disturbance to the traffic flow through the town. SMC's scope included approximately 2600 lf of 12" water main, (10) new fire hydrants, and approximately (58) service replacements to the meter or curb stop. Much of the work was completed over-night due to lane and intersection closures. |
