Stella May Contracting, Inc. has developed and has in place a Contractor Quality Control Plan that is approved and utilized by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. We have in house personnel trained in the US Army Corps of Engineers “Construction Quality Management for Contractors”.

The purpose of Stella May Contracting, Inc. Contractor Quality Control Plan is to establish, maintain, and manage an effective quality control system in accordance with plans, specifications, and procedures necessary to provide a quality product that complies with the requirements of the project contract.

Stella May Contracting, Inc. Contractor Quality Control Plan includes:

  1. Organizational Chart with responsibilities and duties of personnel

  2. Approval Procedures for shop drawings and submittals

  3. Three phase inspection:
    1. Preparatory Inspection
    2. Initial Inspection
    3. Follow Up Inspection


  4. Testing: This is performed by third party engineering firms for the disciplines needed (concrete, soils, asphalt, etc.)

  5. Tracking and record procedures

  6. Coordination meetings

  7. Punch-out, Pre-final, and Final Acceptance inspection
