Stella May CEO Harley Flack Honored as 2026 Black History Hero

In observance of Black History Month 2026, the Maryland Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA), in partnership with The Cordish Companies and Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, celebrated ten distinguished Black History Heroes at the 13th annual event dedicated to honoring local leaders who provide positive influence and significant contributions to Maryland’s African American community. Among the honorees was Harley Flack, President & CEO of Stella May Contracting, Inc., who delivered the event’s keynote speech.

Harley Flack Powers 314% Growth for Stella May Contracting

When Harley Flack joined Stella May Contracting as Executive Vice President in 2014, the business ran out of an office that consisted of one working telephone, two computers and a copy machine someone donated from home. Annual revenue was $12 million with a company roster of 48 employees.
