Job Title: Administrative Coordinator
Division: Office of the President
Reports To: Director-Office of the President
Salary: $24.00–$28.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Administrative Coordinator works within the Office of the President as a dynamic generalist to be involved in all aspects of projects and initiatives from start to finish, i.e. business development, strategic planning, and process improvement. This position will report with the Director of the Office of the President and the CEO.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Provide administrative support for Strategic and Operational initiatives and responsibilities of the Office of the President.
- Responsible for welcoming guests and clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization. Keep visitor log updated.
- Ensuring phones are answered quickly and directed to company employees.
- Maintain various company platforms for timely updates (Asana).
- Organize client meetings for the owners, events, presentations, and travel arrangements for various departments/employees.
- Provide daily support to the Director of the Office of the President (OOP) including scheduling and preparing for meetings, managing calendars, assisting with presentations and handling correspondences.
- Responsible for maintaining various Emmorton office contracts such as pest control, mail meter service, portable water, etc.
- Manage security building access, including fobs and keys.
- Order office supplies as needed.
- Perform other related tasks as required

- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing tasks
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONAL AREAS (PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED)
- Administration, Process Improvement or Management Consulting
- Construction Administration
- Business Development and Marketing
- Office Management
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS
- Access to reliable transportation to commute to the office daily, and within the Baltimore metropolitan area periodically for events
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform essential duties
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
